Trims & notes
• 4 cm woven elastic (~90 cm)
• Flat drawcord 1.2 cm (~150 cm)
• Metal eyelets x2
• #3 coil zips 14 cm (x2, ankles)
• 3 mm filled piping cord, contrast (~360 cm)
• Mesh pocketing
• Woven label (inside back waist)
• Care/content label
• Order the jacket and pant fabric in one lot and say so on the purchase order. Velour dyes to lot; a set that does not match is a returned set, and the customer will hold the two pieces together under a light before they buy.
• Pile direction runs DOWN the leg, same as the jacket. State it on every panel. A pant cut against the jacket's pile direction will look like a different colour even from the same lot.
• Measure the waist with the elastic relaxed and put that on the chart. A 38 cm relaxed waist stretches to about 52 cm; a factory measuring it stretched will cut the elastic short and every pair will be tight.
• Specify woven elastic, not knitted. Knitted elastic relaxes under a 300 GSM pile within a month of wear and the waist drops.
• Blind-stitch the hem, do not cover-stitch it. A cover-stitched hem on velour leaves two crushed shiny lines around the ankle, which is the first place anyone looks.
